In 2002, Ohel introduced its premiere forum for young professionals dedicated to supporting the services that OHEL provides, while making a real difference in our community. OHEL Children's Home and Family Services Young Leadership division is devoted in involving young professionals in their 20's and 30's, serving as advocates and activists for OHEL and the Jewish community at large. Whether you're interested in directly interacting with the clients we serve or want to help the organization in other meaningful ways, becoming involved in our Young Leadership division promises to be both fun and fulfilling.

Established in 2002, Ohel's Young Leadership division, is dedicated to involving young professionals in their 20s and 30s, in community and social services, as well as philanthropic and leadership development activities. Our goal is to get young people involved and informed of the services Ohel provides and the challenges we face. You will join hundreds of socially concerned young professionals and be an integral part of a dynamic team. Additionally, you will be able to:

  • Network with hundreds of young adults in the New York Metropolitan area
  • Spend time with individuals with disabilities through various activities and events
  • Participate in multiple fundraising and social events
  • Donate your time and resources to make a difference

And finally, we want to educate members on social issues and needs in order to prepare and inspire another generation of caring individuals in leadership roles within the community.... All while having a BLAST!!!
